Eugene’s Hot Chicken- Brick and Mortar

It’s open!!!! The food truck now has a stationary, permanent location to get delicious hot chicken.

I’ve posted previously about my love of hot chicken and my willingness to chase a food truck around town to get it. Well, as of tonight, I no longer have to chase the truck!

At the corner of 23rd and 9th in Uptown (next to the parking garage) is the new brick and mortar location. It is not in the former Bottle and Bone location, as previously reported. There is a need for external signage, but it’s there.

The menu offers the same samplings available on the truck: tenders, wings, popcorn chicken, etc. The heat levels are still Southern (no heat), mild, hot, and stupid hot. The sides include fries, corn, collards, baked potato salad, slaw, and more.

Currently, the beverage options are fountain drinks, tea, and bottled water. The restaurant is working on getting the inspections and licenses necessary to serve beer. There are four taps installed, waiting to be put into service.

Stop on in and try out their non-mobile location and let me know what you think!
